Jennifer Morgan

Jennifer is currently an instructor teaching Bachata 101 at Nuvitzo Dance, as well as assistant director of the pre-intermediate salsa performance team, and a member of the bachata performance team.

Jennifer has always loved dancing, since the early days of baby ballet to recent dabblings in belly dancing and line dancing; as long as there is music Jennifer will find a way to move to it.

Jennifer joined the Nuvitzo family in 2015 and has since fallen in love with the musicality of bachata, the challenge of salsa and the rhythmic movement of kizomba. By becoming an instructor Jennifer hopes to share her joy of dance with you.

Kathi Zwei

Kathi started dancing in fall 2013 at the University of Muenster, Germany. From 2014 to 2016 she assisted with Kizomba group classes and the occasional salsa workshop. After immigrating to Canada in November 2016 she made the Hamilton salsa scene her new home. Shortly after, she started training with Sean to compete in the Amateur Salsa Showcase division at various Salsa Congresses throughout Ontario and Quebec.

Currently she is working hard to become the latest addition to the Nuvitzo Team and teach salsa and bachata beginner levels. Outside from dance Kathi is trained in German law and now studying philosophy at McMaster University.

German Simmon

German started ballroom dancing in the spring of 2012, and quickly fell in love with the Latin styles of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. For the next three years, German ventured into the social dancing scene in Niagara, Hamilton, and Toronto, being exposed to different styles of Salsa, including Cuban, LA, and New York. In 2016, he joined Nuvitzo Dance and has been part of multiple performance groups, including the Intermediate and Pro-Amateur Salsa teams. He has been training with Sean and competing at the Amateur Salsa Showcase Division at Salsa congresses in both Montreal and Toronto. In 2017, he won four first places and one-second place in both amateur Salsa and Bachata heated divisions with his dancing partner, as well as qualifying for the Amateur Salsa Showcase semifinal for the World Latin Dance Cup held in Florida. Currently, he is part of multiple dance groups at the studio and he is in the process of becoming one of the newest Nuvitzo instructors.

Nuvitzo is awesome and a great place if you want to learn salsa or bachata! Not only because the teachers are great and the atmosphere is always relaxed and fun, but also because you will rarely be in class without a partner: If there is an imbalance between men and women usually other more advanced students come to fill in the gaps! This is great because you can practice with more experienced dancers who also give you personalized feedback. As a guy, this was also very helpful in the social dancing events (every Friday, free for students and soooo important to practice practice practice!) because if I had not known these 'pro' dancers from class I would never have dared to ask them to dance.

All in all, a great place to learn, have fun, and make new friends

I have been taking bachata, salsa and musicality classes at Nuvitzo and I love it. Sean and his assistants' have been so patient in teaching the classes and pay attention to each individual. I would say that whether you are a beginner or a novice, Sean will be able to be attentive you your needs

Awesome dance studio and exquisite instructors...I am very happy that I joined the studio

Donatella Pepe

This dance studio is so much fun. I've just started level 1 salsa, and the moves are broken down so well it's easy to grasp the footwork. This is an amazingly friendly environment and the team instructors are patient and encouraging. There is definitely a passion for dance found here. This studio is for all ages, no one is too young or too old to learn how to dance. Friday night socials are a great way to practise your steps and maybe try some other styles of dance.

Can't wait for the next lesson!!

Susie Folco

As a person who has always done horribly with choreographed anything, (First one there, last one to get it), approaching the Latin dance scene was wildly intimidating seeing all these elaborate turns and footwork and holds being used with so little effort that it seemed as natural as breathing to them. Certainly not something my brain was possible of accomplishing nor my feet.

But after a couple warm hearted students suggested I try a beginner class, I found an immediate bond to the heart of the music and with the patient adaptive instructors they found a way to bring about something in me that was hungry to learn these steps and were able to guide me on that on journey.

Can’t say enough for what a positive environment this is to learn in made all the better by both great instructors and eager students who frequently offer up their time to help fellow students grow in their practice!

Tristan Kush

I joined Nuvitzo Dance earlier this year when I was bitten by the salsa bug. I couldn't be any happier. Sean and all the other instructors are amazing at their craft. They're able to break down every move and make it easy to understand and follow. I've learned so much in the short time that I've been with them. I'm literally dancing for joy. Both, staff and students are friendly, welcoming, and supportive. If you're looking to do something new or expand on your salsa skills, look no further. Nuvitzo Dance is where it's at. Two giant thumbs up! They are pure awesomeness!
